Intermission is a mid-rise located in the big apple. From the start, the goal was to create a building that allowed for convenient breaks throughout the day. From that idea, A grid system was formed, followed by floor plates, and finally a facade. This grid system allowed us to strategically place zones for relaxtion next to zones for work. This created a space we hoped would encourge breaks to allow for an optimal work day.
